Ultra K Vitamins

K1 - 1000 mcg

K1- phylloquinone - Phytomenadione is often also called phylloquinone, vitamin K,—or phytonadione. A—stereoisomer of phylloquinone is called vitamin k1. Phylloquinone is a fat-soluble vitamin with a chemical structure that includes a naphthoquinone ring. Its structure distinguishes it from other forms of vitamin K. Phylloquinone is found primarily in green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, broccoli, and other plant-based sources. It is the predominant form of vitamin K in most diets.

MK4 - 1000 mcg

MK4- menaquinone 4 - Menatetrenone, also known asmenaquinone-4(MK-4), is one of the nine forms of vitamin k2. Menaquinone-4 is a vitamin K2 compound with a shorter isoprenoid side chain compared to MK-7. MK-4 typically has four isoprene units in its side chain. Commonly found in leafy green vegetables. MK-4 is found in animal-based foods, particularly animal livers, meat, and dairy products.

MK7 - 1000 mcg

MK7- menaquinone 7 – Menaquinone 7 is another form of K2 and is arguably the most vital menaquinones. MK7 also has the most bioavailabilityMenaquinone-7 is a type of vitamin K2, and its chemical structure is characterized by a long isoprenoid side chain with seven isoprene units. This structure distinguishes it from other forms of vitamin K. Found primarily in green leafy vegetables like spinach, kale, broccoli, and other plant-based sources. It is the predominant form of vitamin K in most diets.

Vitamin D - 125 mcg or 5000 iu

Vitamin D exists in two forms, vitamin D2 and vitamin D3, which differ in the structure of their side chains that are known as ergocalciferol and cholecalciferol. Both vitamins D2 and D3 are metabolized by their conversion to the 25-hydroxy form and then to the 1,25-dihydroxy metabolite in the kidney, which is the bioactive form of this vitamin (Thomas 2023). Vitamin D3 can be absorbed a few ways, it can be produced by ultraviolet radiation that is acting on the parent compound (Thomas 2023), or you can eat foods such as deep-sea fatty fish, egg yolks or liver.

Astaxanthin - 2000 mcg

Astaxanthin (C40H52O4) is a xanthophyll containing 13 conjugated double bonds and is abundant in microorganisms (Satoh, T. 2016). Astaxanthin (ASTX) is a carotenoid found in marine animals like salmon and shrimp. Astaxanthin is also found in yeast, microalgae, and aquatic animals It shows promise in preventing liver fibrosis by inhibiting the activation of certain liver cells. ASTX also reduces collagen buildup in the liver and decreases the expression of genes associated with fibrosis (Satoh, T. 2016).
